DuPont^TM Softesse® is ideal for wound care products. Softesse® is made without the use of binders, chemicals or adhesives, resulting in a high-purity fabric structure. This minimizes the possibility of product contamination and allergic reactions by users. Softesse® is available in a variety of product styles made from 100% polyester or polyester blends with materials such as wood pulp, rayon and other specialty fibers. These styles are available in a range of basis weights, colors and finishes to meet manufacturers’ needs. What’s more, Softesse® is available in a range of absorbencies and apertures and is used in many presaturated device applications. It is also low linting, which can minimize the risk of introducing particulates.

Tapes, bandages, gauze and medical sponges are all made of DuPont^TM  Softesse®, the extremely soft fabric that provides protection, comfort and convenience.
